Commencing in Public Practice in 1983, Gary has had a diverse background with KPMG & Crowe Horwath, with more than 32 years of continuous service, including experience in audit, management consulting, superannuation, business advisory and property funds management.
A partner since 1991, Gary has had experience in both capital city and regional environments.
Gary retired from Public Practice on 31 December 2015 after a lengthy service to the accounting industry and a strong commitment to community service, to pursue a family office private investment business.

The reason a business doesn’t have a Business Plan, isn’t that they don’t see the need, they simply don’t know what to write and what strategies
to adopt!
And whilst the future of AI will continue to be embraced with enthusiasm, business owners and managers, should exercise caution on the limit and scope of how much financial information that AI can support to their individual personalised position.
Now, in using AI: a. Where the stakes are low – haircare, minor research, takeaway food options – the risks are small, But b. When the stakes are high – money, investments, relationships, mental health, complex medical or financial decisions – the risks are high and the margins for error and consequences, are much larger.
Accordingly, where detailed business and personal information is required, including a thorough knowledge of your current financial & trading performance, legal structure, tax position, family dynamics, property investments, financial and superannuation goals – understanding the context of your personal circumstances, is critical in making the right decisions!
Accordingly, we have developed software that enables a business to create their own ‘Do it yourself’ Business plan, with over 3,500 business strategies to be applied to their individual affairs.
We see this initiative as the bridge that businesses need until the sophistication of AI catches up over the next decade!
We are currently looking for a Partner to launch this software product to the business market.
